Estimation Notes and Assumptions: Since this is just a continuation of UXPROD-273, I (Cate) estimated it based on that estimate. That said, I reduced the BE estimate since I think we have done a good amount of the work in the creation of dedicated checkout and renewal APIs already

 Description

Purpose: Placeholder for loan policy impact on loans work that doesn't get completed in Q2

Now that we have basic loan rule functionality for targeting loans to loan policies, we need to make use of the loan policy settings to govern the specifics of the loan. For example, you need to look to the policy to determine the due date for check out and renewals. We have some user stories already in for this (and some are complete) BUT there are more to be written. For example, there can be:

  • A renewal limit (max number of renewals)
  • A due date limit for rolling loans (e.g. rolling loan due dates can't extend past a certain date)
  • Etc

This represents the work to tie loan policy settings to loan rules which is targeted for completion in the Q3 2018 release.

Just changing the status on this to draft, Sean, as I know you are creating stories for it.

Marking as complete as remaining functionality was split into new feature: UXPROD-1440 Closed
