Estimation Notes and Assumptions: These estimates assume that analysis and logic from UXPROD-665 could be reused for this.

One uncertainty is, how many different delimited file formats could be expected, and if there were more than one format to expect, would some user options for configuration of the parsing be needed?

 Description

Note: This is based on UI input, not command line. Data Migration may take care of loading Inventory data based on command line interaction with Inventory Instance APIs.

Parse incoming data in delimited files to identify relevant bibliographic details, package them up, and deliver to the inventory app and MARCcat with appropriate rules, so that Inventory instances and SRS MARC records can be CRUDed.

Ann-Marie Breaux, Wayne Schneider, shale99 I am trying to understand how this differs from UXPROD-664 Draft . Or is this about matching existing records for record updates as opposed to new records? Thanks!

Per e-mail from Chalmers to Holly: this feature is not needed. Lisa did provide some additional information for Ann-Marie to review: ""It was our impression that the functionality in UXPROD-666 Draft was more ""basic"" than that in UXPROD-665 Closed (import bib records in MARC format), so that if the latter was ready the former would also be. We definitely need at least one of these two to be ready when we go live."
