Estimation Notes and Assumptions: There should be basis for re-use of analysis and implementation as per https://issues.folio.org/browse/UXPROD-657.

I'm not immediately clear on the complexities of item data in MARC, i.e. how many different ways various institutions might encode items in MARC, that the import should take into account. Confidence is thus set to low.

 Description

Bring job profiles to life for MARC Bibliographic records creating (not yet deleting) Inventory Item records

Note: This is based on UI input, not command line. Data Migration may take care of loading Inventory data based on command line interaction with Inventory Item APIs.

Parse incoming item data in MARC records to identify relevant item details, package them up, and deliver to the inventory app with appropriate rules, so that items can be CRUDed.

Ann-Marie BreauxDoes this cover the mapping Inventory item data from a MARC bibliographic record 9xx field to an inventory item record?

Hi Ann-Marie Breaux I see this is still in draft. Do you think it at risk at this point? If so, please add the q4-2019-at-risk tag. Thanks!
