| Description |
|
Flexible service that allows a library faculty and staff to create workflows (series of steps) that can be assigned to orders and/or resources. The goal of the solution would be to allow alerting and queuing of tasks that need to be performed by multiple people/departments in a prescribed order in addition as a detailed history that can later be used with vendor discussions and renewals. For Workflow App to be meaningful, it must be integrated with the To Do App. The To-do works in collaboration with the Workflows app, to expose and manage tasks and sequences of tasks in the system. It allows you to receive tasks based on any number of triggers – e.g. requests from forms, new resources arriving at the library, system failures needing review etc. Latest video explaining the To Do app concept (NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE LATEST VERSION OF THE CONCEPT - NEW VIDEO COMING SOON): https://vimeo.com/220236388 |
