 Description

For the first implementation of locations on holdings and items (see UIIN-137 Closed ), we have decided that, when holding-level locations change, nothing happens to item-level overrides that may already be in place. This is the simplest way to start.

This feature is about implementing some more advanced handling for this scenario. The idea is that, if there are item-level overrides in place and you make a change to the holding-level location, the system would generate a popup and allow you to decide if you want to re-establish the link to the holding for one or more items with overrides.

Charlotte Whitt I wonder if this feature should more properly be over in Inventory (since that's where location changes would actually happen) as opposed to the Locations and Service Points epic. What do you think?

This is very stale; I'm going to close it. If this request comes up again, we can revisit and open up a new feature.
