 Description   

Continuation of the performance optimizations

  • Reduce the number of roles in the system (clustering algorithm)  Handled in F77844: Roles and Policies continued
  • Optimize sidecar cache sizes/eviction policies/etc.
  • Optimized Kong performance - Possibly Defer
    • Reduce number of routes
  • Revisit and wrap up effort to use native binaries for Sidecars
    • Currently native binary builds fail
    • May need to upgrade Quarkus?
  • Sidecar resource utilization optimizations (replace Kafka) - Defer to phase 5
  • Sidecar/Keycloak authz optimizations (reduce number of API calls)
  • Focused performance/capacity testing of sidecars - Defer keycloak, kong
