 Description

Current situation or problem:

Currently, we have the ability to import MARC records and transform the metadata into corresponding resource descriptions.

For production, the system must also be able to ingest RDF - specifically RDF employed by the Library of Congress for modelling its BIBFRAME 2 vocabulary.

In scope

  • importing RDF to create new resource descriptions
  • importing RDF to update existing resource descriptions

Relates to export data into BIBFRAME 2

Out of scope

  • importing of other formats
  • export serialization; export format

Use case(s)

Proposed solution/stories
