 Description

Current situation or problem: Ability to adopt user characteristics temporarily from another user account for the purpose of troubleshooting.

In scope

  1. Allow users with appropriate permissions to temporarily adopt the settings of another user account
  2. Support ECS multiple affiliation capabilities

Out of scope

Login as or Masquerade as another user account. Actions performed by the user that has adopted permissions of a different account should still be attributed to that user not to the user that they are "mirroring"

Use case(s)

User is unable to access a particular record that other users in their department are able to access.

Proposed solution/stories

Allow user to adopt the characteristics (Affiliations, permissions, user preferences) of a different user for a specific period of time.
Reinstate all user details if at any point they logout
