Current situation or problem: The "OA Switchboard" is a service that seeks to consolidate information on open access publication / APC request information from across multiple publishers so that institutions can get information about APCs (and other related charges) from a single consolidated source. https://www.oaswitchboard.org/ "the OA Switchboard simplifies the sharing of information between publishers, institutions and funders, thereby reducing the transactional cost for stakeholders, and it provides a safe space for publication metadata." This feature is to integrate with the OA Switchboard messages (called "P1" messages) to make institutional workflows more efficient A "P1-message", is sent by the publisher immediately upon version of record publication, to relevant stakeholders in that published article - this means that much of the information that would otherwise be entered by hand can be automatically added to the institutions local systems In scope Integration with P1 messages from OA Switchboard. Where the P1 message contains information not currently supported by the OA request management app, consideration will need to be given as to whether to extend the OA request management app data, or to not implement that data at this time.
