 Description

To improve the ability to view a detail record in a three pane layout, stripes framework needs to support the resizable panes that allow a user to set the width to view a pane.

Per John " blocked due to context/stripes-framework get complete."

UXPROD feature assignee = product owner. I am assigning this to Khalilah for now, as she is the temporary PO for UX/stripes

Changing dev team from Core to Frontside, as this is required by the capacity model. We will make sure the "frontside" team is given some of John C's time in the model.

This feature may require refactoring of routing and search&sort

Why would that be so? I can't begin to see how routing, in particular, could possibly be affected by the size of the panes of routed-to components.

Comment by Khalilah Gambrell [ 14/Jan/20 ]

John Coburn, can you recall if resizable panes has a routing refactor dependency?

Comment by John Coburn [ 15/Jan/20 ]

Khalilah Gambrell Mike Taylor Pane resizing shouldn't require a routing refactor, no. We can remove that part of this description... We'll still have to work carefully with SearchAndSort on this feature... developer experience there may have to be adjusted for this to properly work and I'm sure there will be more adjustments at the component level that we have to make for this functionality to finally be comfortable. (MCL, LayoutGrid Row/Col I can imagine needing some changes.)
