 Description

For users that prefer to use keyboard shortcuts, we need to support a well defined list of shortcuts and/or provide guidelines on how to create hotkeys that do not conflict with OS/web browsers/screenreaders basic shortcuts.

Notes from Feb/Mar 2018 discussion with John C.

  • John will pull in default pairings. JIRA created. Ready by mid-March.

Khalilah Gambrell, John Coburn, Filip Jakobsen, we need to associate this with an epic. Is it an accessibility requirement (in which case we should make the epic UXPROD-216 In Progress ) or is it more of a general UX enhancement that would benefit all users (in which case it should probably get epic UXPROD-856 In Progress (UX Enhancements)?

Cate Boerema it is important for accessibility but it also has been requested in the User Management Group. I will associate with UXPROD-856 In Progress

UXPROD feature assignee = product owner. I am assigning this to Khalilah for now, as she is the temporary PO for UX/stripes

Changing dev team from Core to Frontside, as this is required by the capacity model. We will make sure the "frontside" team is given some of John C's time in the model.

Linking STRIPES-559 Closed for a proposal/RFC to handle hotkeys at the system level.
