| Description |

Current situation or problem: Toast messages are an unreliable way of delivering success message to a user. Navigating away from an app will make it impossible for a user to receive the notification. Time out on response can cause the user to see an error even when the operation is ultimately successful. Just notifying the user that an operation has started is an incomplete solution. User can loose track of tasks they are working on if they get distracted. In scope Provide a notification list that can persist between application. Allow apps to add alerts to that list Allow users to mark a notification as read Allow user to toggle between read and unread notifications Purge notifications after X amount of time Out of scope Use case(s) Proposed solution/stories Links to additional info Questions |
