If an item is aged to lost and billed a lost item fee (or fees), which is then transferred, the loan is closed. After the loan is closed you are unable to mark the item as Claim Returned. What is the patron doesn't notice they were billed for the item until the lost item fee (or fees) has been transferred? There are workarounds, but the issue is that the item never enters the claim returned workflow. Here is an example from Nolana Bugfest... |

This was discussed briefly at the Resource Access SIG meeting on December 15, 2022. We identified the need for this but the details still need to fleshed out. |
