 Description

In field mapping profiles, allow a value of "true" or "false" in an incoming MARC field/subfield to control whether a checkbox is checked or not. Would allow for a varied setting when importing multiple records in a file, instead of, or in addition to, current all/nothing/do not change options

This was already implemented for the Orders field mappings. Check boxes can now be set as 1) mark all/unmark all/leave alone or 2) map "true" (checked) or "false" (unchecked) value from incoming file

This expansion feature is a placeholder in case we need the same true/false mapping for any checkboxes in Instances/Holdings/Items/Invoices.

  • Decide which checkboxes in Instances/Holdings/Items/Invoices should be switched to accommodate this format vs which should stay as-is
  • Add file of MARC records with sample data
