 Description

The manual transfer of fees/fines exists, but nothing happens after the transfer 'action' is created. We need to create a machine readable extract file that matches what we create for the automated transfer of fees/fines ( UXPROD-105 Closed ). Each manual transfer will create its own extract. The library will decide when to combine the extract with others, reformat the extract and actually pass the file to the Bursar or other transfer account.

Hi Holly Mistlebauer. Is this still needed?

Stephanie Buck: Sorry for the delay. Yes, I believe it is. This is the only way we have to transfer a single fee/fine manually. I believe that Duke expressed the need for this. It not, we may want to eliminate Transfer as a manual action so users don't think it is actually working. Also, most libraries do not transfer fees/fines, so it would be nice to not have the transfer option appear on Fee/Fine Details and Fees/Fines History.

Stephanie Buck: I will be reviewing all of the features that remain before I retire, adding notes, etc.

I'm not sure this is true? But certainly open to discussion.

Duke does have a need to be able to transfer a single fee/fine on an "as-needed" basis. How that needs to be accomplished I think is a design choice/decision. But I will say I'm not entirely clear how this is different than the work needed for UXPROD-105 Closed .

This may also be a duplicate of UXPROD-3658 Draft ?
