Current situation or problem: Some FOLIO libraries want staff to sign in using single-sign-on solutions with software such as Shibboleth, a pathway that FOLIO supports. For those libraries, the existence of the username/password box on the front login page can be confusing, especially for new staff. The login box generally needs to still be accessible for administrative accounts and/or backup access if a single-sign-on solution goes down. However, some libraries may want to remove the links from the page for "Forget username" or "Forget password" so that staff or others don't attempt to gain login information to the system and get frustrated with it not working as expected.
