 Description

Current situation or problem:

Currently all loan types updates need to be made one record at the time. The loan types changes are frequent as the items are being taken on or off reserve, used in the exhibitions or send to the restauration. All those changes impact the loan type.

In scope

  • Identify records that will be updated based on item barcode, current location, other identifiers?
  • Identify records that will be updated based on the query
  • Add, remove and modify items temporary and permanent loan type
  • Provide a feedback about encountered errors errors
  • Provide ways to address the errors

Out of scope
Notes - will be covered by UXPROD-3713 Closed

Use case(s)

  • Load a file of item uuids, hrids, or barcodes and make multiple changes at once, e.g., add a temporary location and a temporary loan type and change the item status.

This feature does not require architecture changes for the Bulk Edit functionality
