 Description

During MM SIG meeting on June, 16, 2022 it was decided that the In-app approach is the preferable approach for editing item records. I'm removing the feature from the scope for Nolana

Current situation or problem:
The in-app approach for item records bulk edit supports only modifications to item record locations (temporary and permanent) and statuses. The purpose of this feature is to give power users an option to update any field within the item record.

In scope

  • Identify records for bulk update based on the submitted list of item identifiers
  • Save records that match the search criteria in a file in CSV format
  • Allow user to make changes locally to the downloaded records
  • Upload the modified file so that the changes are posted
  • Log errors
  • Notify user about:
  • successfully updated records
  • errors that occured during the update

Moving LC1 label from epic to defining features with Caitlin Stewart permission.
