 Description   

Deleting an instance record is a commonly requested feature. For Nolana, the plan is to support the ability to mark a record for deletion.

This feature is to allocate time for Spitfire to define technical approach to support marking an instance record for deletion.

Spitfire needs to support

mod-search:

  • Show records marked for deletion filter
  • Support a search parameter so that default instance search does not return instances marked for deletion
  • Update browse to default search to not return instance marked for deletion
  • Any updates to permissions

SRS API

  • Any changes?

quickMARC

  • Any changes to indicate record is marked for deletion?
  • Any updates to permission?
  • Dependency checks
