 Description

Current situation or problem:
When recording an OA publication request the user wishes to record:

  • Whether the journal being published in is currently indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
  • What the of OA status of the journal being published in is (Gold, Hybrid)

While this information belongs to the journal (i.e. it is the journal, not the article being published, that is/isn't in DOAJ or has an OA status), this information can change over time (e.g. a journal can be added or removed from DOAJ at any time), and it is required to know what the situation was at the point the OA request was made/fulfilled, not what the current situation for the journal is.

Proposed solution/stories
Adding support for these two pieces of information at both the journal and request level, and defaulting the journal information (where present) into a request on selection of a journal
