Current situation or problem:
User needs to re-enter the same browse value to return to the list of result - there is no easy way to navigate back from instance record to the results list
In scope
- Applicable for Call number browse and subject browse
- Provide a link that will take the user back to the results list
- If user paged through the list of call numbers/subjects the link should take the user to the page where the user navigated from
- Preserver the location of the matched/ missed match visual clue
Use case(s)
- I would appreciate an ability to round trip back to browse results from instances. That is, when navigating from browse results to an instance or set of instances that match a call number or a subject in the browse entries, I would like to be able to go back to the initial set of browse results without having to re-enter and re-run the query.
- It's a bit difficult to get back to the list of results after clicking a title to inspect the instance, because FOLIO converts my browse search to an exact-match call number search, and it is hard to determine how many times I should click the back button to get to the original list. I tried to open a result in a new tab (by right-clicking on a title) in hopes of preserving my browse list, without success (because the instance does not load in the new tab
