 Description

If a user has a "preferred name" in the field, it should be displayed at the top of the screen so the patron, if present, can be addressed properly.

The "preferred name" is appearing correctly in check out, requesting, proxy checkout and requesting as of Lotus. But the preferred name doesn't appear in the User dispaly.

As a library worker, I am using the User app to find a user based on the name they give me. I search in the user app and see the user record in the display. The record display shows Last name, First name, Middle name and other columns as selected.

When the name is selected, the big name bar at the top says, Last name, first name, middle name.

Both displays need to say, Last name, Preferred first name, middle name if preferred first name is used.

Need stories for:

  • User search result (MCL)
  • User detail record create/edit screen
  • User detail record view
  • User lookup search result (MCL)

Ann-Marie Breaux could Folijet take a look at this ticket?

I'll check. Looks like the Lotus release deadline for UI Core modules is 24 or 25 February, which means 1st week of Sprint 134. That may be tight. Stay tuned.

Hi patty.wanninger Good news! I talked with Folijet's UI lead Ivan Kryzhanovskyi today, and we looked through the stories together. We'll be able to get these done and released as part of Lotus. I've updated lots of fields in this feature and its stories.

Ann-Marie Breaux and patty.wanninger, will this work be done by new dev freeze?

All UI stories completed, checked on hosted ref envs, and TestRails created/updated. Ready for Lotus release
