Current situation or problem: Inactive or expired users fail at check out, as expected. This feature adds an override option, similar to what happens now when a patron is prevented from checking out due to an item or patron blocks. Inactive or expired users do NOT fail when renewing. Can I get an update on this UXPROD please? Inactive and Expired patrons being able to renew is causing issues at Cornell. |

Debra Howell: We won't be implementing this feature for Kiwi, but do plan on implementing a short-term solution as described in new tickets CIRC-1187 and UIU-2229. I will ask the Capacity Planning team for permission to work on these tickets at our meeting on Monday. Thanks... |
