 Description

Use of explicit (vs implicit) decimals for data interchange - Some systems may send data as, for example, 2499 and the importing system knows to interpret as 24.99. This is problematic for currencies which have no decimals. We need to assume decimals are explicitly stated in incoming and stored data.
