 Description

Current situation or problem:
Libraries will often want a quick way to generate a list of courses from the Courses app that has real-time data (as opposed to the LDP, which is updated once a day).

Having the ability to search in the Courses App to return records, and then export that list in CSV format, would be a valuable feature for the app.

In scope

  • A menu option in the UI to 'Export search results to CSV'

Use case(s)

Proposed solution/stories

Links to additional info
This has already been done in FOLIO in the Requests app, and is planned for the Circulation Log (https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-2691), so hopefully we can leverage work that has been done in other places and just move it into Courses.

Questions

  • What fields would we want included in a courses export? Would you want it to have item level information in addition to course, courselisting, term and instructor?

Kelly Drake Erin Nettifee Do we want to link this to the Course Reserves epic?

Thanks Brooks Travis - Both this and UXPROD-2956 Open are now linked to the CR epic.

Ah, sorry I missed that. Thanks Brooks Travis!
