| Description |
|
Instead of receiving the notification to print the hold slip after every item that is checked in, staff could be prompted to print the slip for pages/holds once the check in session is ended, and the loans for a single patron could be bundled into one slip to be printed. (Similarly to notices that we can set up to send when someone returns their items and they’re bundled). This could streamline workflows where staff are checking in multiple items, THEN processing multiple holds. Depending on printer configurations and the possibility of bundling, this may also conserve paper. |
