 Description

Implement a Request Queue, which is an ordered list of all open requests on an item, in the order in which they are eligible to be filled. In the first iteration an item's position in the queue will be based solely on the creation date of the request and requests will be filled first-in-first-out.

In later iterations the queue will be reorder-able by staff with appropriate permissions, and bulk actions will be implemented, including cancelling multiple requests at once.

Hi Tania Fersenheim. Noticed this is still in the To Do column but I think analysis may already be complete (or close). Can you please update when you have the chance? Thanks!

Hi Tania Fersenheim, we are past feature freeze for Q3 and this is not complete. Can you please change the fix version to Q4 and note that this dropped from the release in the weekly status document?

It looks like the UX has been done on this and is awaiting your review. Can you please mark that story closed if it's done to your satisfaction?

The actual development story is still in draft. Is that story ready to go? If so, it needs to be taken out of draft or no one will pick it up.

FYI to Darcy Branchini

Matt Connolly and Marc Johnson, it looks like all that is left in this feature is to create a link to the request queu (per Tania Fersenheim, the queue is already developed). If this is the case, I think we can probably significantly reduce the estimates on it, no? Could you please take a look and modify the estimates to reflect the remaining work?

Tania Fersenheim, Matt Connolly didn't implement any page for request queue. He said Aditya matukumalli may have? I don't see a story linked to this feature for the creation of a request queue UI - I just see the one for "linking" to the request queue. Have you actually see the request queue page?

Comment by Aditya matukumalli [ 28/Sep/18 ]

Cate Boerema I only worked on linking to the requests app that based on certain filters displays the specific request ( You can see this from Users->Open loans-> ellipsis (request queue). I haven't worked on any specific request queue UI as such. Thanks

Thanks Aditya matukumalli. Given that, Tania Fersenheim, I don't think any of this request queue feature has been done with the possible exception of some backend work, but I don't see any story to track that either. I think we should treat this feature as not started unless we hear otherwise. I also think that UIREQ-112 Closed should be renamed so it describes the creation of the requests queue page (as opposed to just linking to the page). I'll just take care of that now while I'm here.

Just realized we need to link to this from Loan details. I have re-opened this feature since there is a new story: UIU-722 Closed
