Showstopper for Summer 2021 Implementers?: No
Showstopper Comments from Summer 2021 Implementers: [Tod from Chicago: Borrowing text heavily from David Bottorff: the issue for us is that claiming an item as returned right now does not actually do much in terms of letting someone borrow books, preventing them from having overdue fines charged, etc. We definitely need UXPROD-1130 more, especially as not having Claimed Returned functionality fleshed out will result in more blocks that we need to override. This is relatively low volume so could probably be handled via various kludgy workarounds in the short term but is also very high profile (not blocking a faculty member, for example).]
Showstopper December 11 Meeting Summary: The claimed returned fees/fines work is being actively worked on. We have had trouble getting the code merged for two user stories, so it has not been tested yet by the PO. This feature only has one user story, which is identical to one that we are trying to merge. If Iris is delayed we should be able to complete this. Chicago seems to be able to live without this, as long as they can override patron blocks (which will be more plentiful because of this feature not being completed).

Chicago - borrowing text heavily from David Bottorff: the issue for us is that claiming an item as returned right now does not actually do much in terms of letting someone borrow books, preventing them from having overdue fines charged, etc. We definitely need UXPROD-1130 Closed more, especially as not having Claimed Returned functionality fleshed out will result in more blocks that we need to override.
