Per UIREQ-11 Closed , searching of requests is limited to:

  • Item barcode
  • Requester barcode
  • Title

The purpose of this feature is to extend the search to support searching by, for example, ISBN and Requester

An important use case of searching requests by ISBN is to easily catch long queues for a specific edition (usually the latest) of a title, in order to purchase additional copies. Searching Requests on title is not enough, since there is often a request queue also on older editions of a popular title.
