 Description

1. If I'm in MARCcat, and the Marc Bib record or the Holdings has a "View Inventory" option in the Action menu (which means there's an related Instance in Inventory), then also add a button for "Edit Inventory", which would take the user from MARCcat to the appropriate Instance in Inventory and allow them to start editing. This would only allow editing of the Inventory fields that are not controlled by the underlying MARC Bib or Holdings
2. If I'm in Inventory, and I want to check the record in MARCcat after creating/editing, then have a button or menu option that lets me view the corresponding Marc bib record or Holdings in MARccat. (maybe change this to an option to "Edit in MARCcat" button in Inventory)

This features is the 'viceversa' of the https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-2079

Hi Tiziana Possemato and Charlotte Whitt Wouldn't the first scenario just be a way to go view the Instance in Inventory, rather than to edit the Instance? And then if they choose to edit it once they are in Inventory, they can hit the Edit button and edit the (very few) editable fields that when there is an underlying MARC record.

Hi Tiziana Possemato and Annalisa Di Sabato. Magda Zacharska, what should we do with this feature? We are nearing the Q3 release and I'd like for all the features associated with it to be closed, split or removed from the release. For help splitting features, please see this deck: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1ZqA34rfHQxNqM5QuBvD3kY8gLRpdqD5co-cK0vkY2NU/edit Thanks!

Hi Cate Boerema This was not done. I've removed the Q3 2020 release tag

As of Jan 2021, development of MARCcat has ceased. Will incorporate some features into quickMARC.
