 Description

---------------------------------------------------

Old text. To be reviewed and updated:

• In this case, we recently received the second volume of a two-part set. The record in our local system only has the description from the first volume and is not up to date with the new ISBNs and some other fields. We already have our holdings on the correct OCLC record and I don't want to create an item or a holdings record; I just want to update our local bib record with a newer version from OCLC.
• I modify the 049 to SNNZ, which is not a valid holdings code, and Aleph is programmed to skip the holdings and item record processing steps when it sees this value
• I export the record, and the dialog confirms that only the bib was modified in Aleph

Hi Ann-Marie Breaux- I removed Mjolnier as development team, and assigned this feature to the FOLJIET dev team

Hi Charlotte Whitt That's fine - no worries. We'll just put it in the Folijet backlog for now. Thank you!
Ryan Taylor At some point, we need to look through these ISRI features and determine whether they can be consolidated with other features, closed, or remain open
