| Description |

Currently, there is only one modal that pops up when an item is put in transit at checkin. The modal says: Route {Title} {Material Type} {Barcode} to {target location.}The item can be going to the target location to simply go home for shelving or it could be going to a hold shelf for a requester. Many libraries son't have to print transit slips for items that are merely going home to be reshelved, so to go through the extra printing if slips were auto-generated, or to click through the the print preview, would be wasteful. So if the modal for an item in transit for a requester could be differentiated from the current in-transit modal so those slips could be automatically printed., That would help streamline the checkin process., i.e. The modal says: Route {Title} {Material Type} {Barcode} to {target location.}for a requestor (generic) or {requestor name}, depending on what you wanted on the slip. |

Emma Boettcher, wouldn't this be you since it's the check in screen? We also wondered whether or not there should be two different transit slips – one for transit to home and the other for transit to fulfill a request. This part would be mine. |

Darcy Branchini Sure, I'll assign this one to me, with the scope being just to change one of the modals and assuming you'll create a different feature for the slips. |
