 Description

To streamline workflow, generate an Agreement based on GOBI Order feed. To support, GOBI will need to:

  • pass an Agreement ID to update and/or some flag that indicates to create a new Agreement
  • pass any additional information (Agreement start date, etc.)
  • pre-populate Agreement line with eBook ordered

Ann-Marie Breaux and Marie Widigson, I created this feature based on the following feedback from May 6- 9 "When ordering Wiley eBook on GOBI, have it added to my Wiley individual eBooks package/agreement on FOLIO automatically"

Let me know if the feature does not capture what you are requesting.

Thanks Khalilah Gambrell

Please accept my apologies if I have misunderstood. Also, I don't remember if it's already planned that GOBI will automatically update eHoldings with activation of new titles when ordered? Ann-Marie Breaux

I think we would like to create the agreement manually and we would probably prefer to define the connected package ourselves. (I'm not sure if we will have one agreement for all books ordered through GOBI, or if we will have one agreement for each vendor at GOBI, probably the latter.) But at the moment when we gain access to the e-book, it would be great to have the title in the package connected to the agreement automatically activated.

However, if the title is missing in the package, it would need to be added or we would need some kind of flag/tag to be aware of this.

Please comment if you have additional thoughts, Martina Karlsson.

Thank you, Marie Widigson. The work to automatically activate a title ordered through GOBI is already in progress. I'll close this feature.

HI Khalilah Gambrell I was cleaning out some old e-mails, and came across your June comment on this feature. Did you intend to close this feature? In the meantime, a number of libraries have ranked it, but none have ranked it high.
