6/13/2019 Update: Refining this to just notices reprinted/resent on demand since the functionality to reprint slips is already built in for slips. Specifics from an email exchange with Duke: In terms of notices/slips to send or resend - I think the hope as we were thinking about it would be that any notice feature would have that ability to just resend it and it could just be a basic function. Which is why it was written as a catch all, since we may not be able to anticipate situations where we would want that to be in place. Certainly I think the higher priority is reprinting hold slips and item slips or pick lists, so it sounds like that's already in there. For notices, I think the resend feature would be ad-hoc on patron demand ("I accidentally deleted that email about my stuff, can you send it again?") or to go above and beyond for communication (Patron X has a lot of lost books, and they aren't responding, so we're going to send this lost notice again just to make sure that it went through or just to try to catch their attention again.) |

Hi Darcy Branchini! We do not understand if we should rank this, or if there are separate issues for different types of slips and notices. COuld you please clarify? |

Lisa Sjögren, this is a catch all feature that a FOLIO operator should be able to send/resend or print/reprint every slip and notice. I'll be writing individual stories for any of these that have not been developed already. We've already built this for any staff slips already designed and developed, but it's not built yet for patron notices. |

We (Cornell) are dropping our ranking to a P4. If print slips are added we would like this functionality but we have not had an issue with an lack of print slips in the 2-years that we have been live on FOLIO. FYI: julie.bickle |
