 Description

Where's the delimiter sign? Can we customize our delimiter? (We need to have a delimiter. Would be nice to have ability to customize.)

The possibility to set and choose the delimiter sign in MARCcat.

Would apply across MARCcat, View source, quickMARC, Data import settings, Data export settings (anywhere a user views or edits MARC records in FOLIO)

Assuming this feature refers to the ability to customize the delimiter symbol. If this is incorrect, and this feature refers to the existence of a delimiter symbol, Cornell will need to re-rank.

Comment by Mirko Fonzo [ 15/Jan/20 ]

MARCcat will be keeping the current internal representation of its delimiter symbol (chr(31)).
However a new symbol could be defined in settings. A new function can be implemented to convert the new symbol to the internal MARCcat representation and vice versa anytime data need to be saved on the MARCcat's storage or retrieved from it for displaying.

As of Jan 2021, development of MARCcat has ceased. Will incorporate some features into quickMARC.
