 Description

Follow up work on implementation of beta elements in the Holdings record, accordion Receiving history. In the initial implementation following elements were added: Enumeration, Chronology to the edit form and detailed view.

Look at how these elements are displayed in Receiving app, and will the data entered in as checking in a piece appear in corresponding elements in Inventory, so the data about most recently received issues will be displayed in the catalog - UXPROD-2373 Closed .

MVP: Is there a place to migrate receiving history to from existing systems?

Outstanding issue is e.g. implementation of Radio-buttons for controlling display (separated/concatenated)Implement radio-buttons for controlling display (separated/concatenated) data for Enumeration and Chronology.

Removing all but the essential features from the Q2 2019 Core Functional team backlog. After we've run the estimates through the cap plan, we may find we can pull in more.

Hi Charlotte Whitt Is this a must-have for Q2? Why? If it's a must have, we need to get it dev-ready asap. Also, I looked at UIIN-418 Draft and I don't really see the thin thread. Is it just about adding a radio button or is the radio button actually functional?

Is the receiving history here the same as "check-in history" in Orders (from PO line)?

Comment by Khalilah Gambrell [ 28/Feb/22 ]

Hey Charlotte Whitt is this the same feature that was released in Kiwi?

Comment by Charlotte Whitt [ 02/Mar/22 ]

Dennis might have written up his own feature, instead of using the original one. Do you have the feature number - then I can double check what is going on here. Thanks

Charlotte Whitt - maybe this one  UXPROD-2373 ?

Kiwi R3 2021 work has been done as: UXPROD-2373 Closed
Allow for the display of piece information on Holding records in inventory

Comment by Dennis Bridges [ 07/Mar/22 ]

Note that work done under UXPROD-2373 Closed does not store data in inventory. If functionality was planned beyond this feature there may still be limitations here. There is reference in the description to migrating data in to these fields. Currently that would mean migrating data in to receiving records NOT into Holdings records. Lastly, there is currently no ability to toggle these data elements for public display as current functionality in OAIPMH relies on data existing IN the holdings, again none of the receiving information that is displayed in being stored in the Holdings so these services will need additional updates to accommodate this. See https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-3525 for requirements associated with surfacing these details in a public interface.

If these limitations are an issues there may be scope here that is not covered by UXPROD-2373 Closed .
