| Description |
|
Currently, ui-agreements displays print and electronic issn but no other identifiers for a title instance. This is confusing if the title instance happens to be a book - as mutiple titles in a book series look like duplicates, when in fact they are separate items. Currently, only the identifier discriminates the items. Since ISBN isn't shown, users are deprived of that discriminator. Additionally, these items can have many other identifiers, including DOIs and ZDB Ids. We need to work out a) If we should / How we display an arbitrarily long list of identifiers |

Is this only applicable if you have instances for electronic resources (rather than using the eHoldings app)? Khalilah Gambrell |

Lisa Sjögren - I am unsure. Owen Stephens, will this be applicable for any resource available via eResources tab in ui-agreements? |

that may depend on the outcome of our discussions on
Yes - I assume this would be applicable for any resource searchable and viewable (in preview pane) via eResources tab in ui-agreements. Note that searchable and viewable (in preview pane) are not necessarily the same thing Obviously identifiers only display if available, so this issue is really about making space for the identifiers. If identifiers are not available for the resource (for whatever reason) they would not be displayed |
