Ann-Marie Breaux do you think there is an opportunity for us to data import app already in place for MARC data?

Ian Ibbotson (Use this one) would this be a reasonable approach from your perspective?

Chalmers would do this in eHoldings? Khalilah Gambrell

Theodor Tolstoy (One-Group.se) - for now it will only be available via HLM. In a later release, follow pattern define by ERM which could potentially follow pattern data import app

There still appears to be a lot of unfinished work on the Data Import app that we'd need for this. Given that, I'm afraid that we either wouldn't be able to use it or would have to make extensive modifications. The front-end estimate reflects that uncertainty and possibility of significant required work.

patty.wanninger - this feature will not be applicable for libraries using EBSCO KB.

Updated description to remove outdated content:

Major design decision is probably whether we want to and can make use of the data-import app to support this aspect

This implementation will not use data-import.

Issues to raise for Job Management Infrastructure:

  1. Build job domain model (blocked by ERM-183 Closed )
  2. Add queue management
  3. Add API to fetch jobs and status
  4. Trigger existing service from file upload
  5. Set up dependency for user interface

These are captured in ERM-290 Closed
