 Description

Feature representing the work needed in Q1 to "wire up" any new loan policy settings so they control what happens at check out, check in and renewal.

Current mockups: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ypqr1zIgk961cbCUJcgy9y5YiKbkj3qf/view?usp=sharing

Feature scope:

  • Work to wire up the new settings defined in UXPROD-1375 Closed
    • Current thinking on logic for some of these new request settings: When an item is recalled, calculate today's date plus the recall return interval. If the resulting date (RD) is sooner than the original due date (ODD), use the RD. If the RD is later than the original due date, use the ODD. If the RD is less than the minimum guaranteed due (MGD), use the MGD.

Hi Marc Johnson, this is one we still need to estimate. Scope has changed so it only includes the work needed to wire up the new request settings that are being added to the loan policy.

Aditya matukumalli, could you please provide the frontend estimates? This is going to require some user feedback (popups) at checkout and renewal, I think. Just to let the user know if something is not allowed. I am not sure what other frontend work is needed here. You would know better than I, since you did the wiring up of many of the other loan policy settings.

Cate Boerema As we already have the modals defined in checkin, checkout and renewal for other use cases, I think all we need to do here is populate those modals (maybe format the messages a bit) with whatever error message/messages are being sent up from the backend for the current use case. I don't think we have any other work here apart from those. Thanks.
