Discussed this topic with Theodor Tolstoy (One-Group.se) and Chalmers has both analytic records and bound-with records - therefor this needs to be solved for V1 - might be a Beta 2 (September) issue, so we have time to review before Chalmers go live. Good thing though is that the bound-with are very few records. Theodor will provide me with example records.

After today's MM-SIG meeting Felix Hemme and his colleague Michael Knarr reached out to me; and we'll follow up on this together with Theodor. I'll add this as a topic to the agenda for WOLFcon.

Hi Charlotte Whitt, the estimates on this feature are quite high. Is that still the current thinking? I wonder if it would make sense to as Niels Erik Nielsen to re-estimate this at this point. Thoughts?

Hi Cate Boerema, yes definitely. The core part of the task is - what is missing is the item to item relationship ( UIIN-145 Closed - is about building hierarchical Instances and Items).

Niels Erik Nielsen and I discussed the estimates, and I'll adjust the remaining time as approximately 33% time left.

I see that this is currently in progress but not target for any specific release. Will it be done during the Q4 development?

Charlotte Whitt, I think you were going to split this feature into two parts: instance-level bound withs and item-level bound withs. As I understood it, the instance-level bound withs were complete (I think they were completed in Q3, no?). Item-level are still to be developed.

Do I have this right?

HI Charlotte Whitt! I'm not sure I see how "linking multiple instance records to a single holdings record" relates to the hierarchical instance model.
However, having taken a look at the GBV FOLIO environment, I think that the functionality already implemented in Q3 should be sufficient for Chalmers at go-live.

Hi Lisa Sjögren - sounds good!

Hi @Cate - just did the split etc.

Comment by Cate Boerema (Inactive) [ 12/Oct/18 ]

Awesome. I just linked them up and added the new "split" label to this feature to indicate it was split. This label will allow us to see how many of the features we release each quarter needed to be split (meaning wasn't fully completed).

Thanks for taking care of this, Charlotte Whitt! I love it when release features grow with just a little JIRA maintenance
