Affected releases:
Nolana (R3 2022)

 Description

Overview: When decreasing allocations in a budget, a regex error is produced and an error message is thrown stating that the allocation was not decreased. However, refreshing the budget page will reflect a decrease in the allocation.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into Nolana Community environment using diku_admin
  2. Open the finance app and then open the Fund called 'TestFund'
  3. Open the Current budget called test-FY2022
  4. In the actions drop-down, select Decrease Allocation
  5. Enter 2,000 (or any amount) in the Amount field.
  6. Click Confirm

Expected Results: The budget allocation will decrease by the amount you entered in the Decrease Allocation modal.

Actual Results: A red error toast message states that the amount was not successfully allocated to the budget. Upon refreshing the budget page, you can see that the allocation has actually been appropriately decreased.

Additional Information: Has been replicated in FOLIO Training tenant.

Support: Dennis Bridges since there is a workaround the support sig is marking this as a 2 but this could be a 1 since it impacts trust in the system around monies.

Need to determine whether this story affects the Orchid OR current Poppy release.

This was fixed in scope of UIF-429
