 Description

Overview: FLO testers using Chrome on a PC are unable to see the very last row of the circulation rules in the Fameflower environment.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login to Simmons environment, go to Settings > Circulation rules (https://simmons.hosted-folio.indexdata.com/settings/circulation/rules)
  2. When viewing the screen in the 3rd pane

Expected behavior:
In Chrome browser on both a PC and a mac then all lines are visible (14 lines)

Actual behavior:
In Chrome on a PC the last line is cut off and is not visible.

Other observations and comments:

  1. The same bug has been observed in MSU's production environment (Fameflower) - https://msu.folio.ebsco.com.
  2. The bug can not be reproduced, when using Chrome on a mac.

Hi Cheryl Malmborg - FYI too as PO for Loan Rules.
Would you like me to file a ticket in the CIRC jira project?

Comment by Cheryl Malmborg [ 05/May/20 ]

I created UICIRC-456 Closed to report this as a bug.

Sounds good Cheryl Malmborg. Thanks.

This has been assigned to the Vega team - UICIRC-456 Closed . Should I close the ticket, or do we want to keep it Open until the actual work has been done? Kelly Drake?

Comment by Darcy Branchini [ 19/May/20 ]

Vega will be addressing this, but in the meantime, I wanted to point out that there is a workaround. If you add a blank line at the end of circulation rules (by using the return key after the last circulation rule), then this is not an issue. If you save the circulation rules without a blank or empty line at the end, then this is an issue.

Charlotte Whitt will verify to close...

I reached out to Darcy Branchini

And Darcy Branchini confirmed:
Yes, it's been fixed and is in the Goldenrod release.
It wasn't as straightforward as one might expect. It was highly dependent on browser and OS. We were able to duplicate it on a PC with Chrome though... so please let me know if you see any remaining issues with it.

I'll go ahead and close the ticket.
