 Description

Purpose: A report to be run quarterly. Check for the existence of a Contributor type (relationship designator MARC 1XX + 7XX subfield $4) in records catalogued according to RDA.

This task will be: Inventory and/or MARCcat - if both, then write up separate story for MARCcat.

Contributor type is not stored stored in Inventory, so this does not appear to be an in-app report.

Comment by Charlotte Whitt [ 02/May/19 ]

Hi Kristin Martin - contributor type is stored in the instance record, in Inventory - see examples from FOLIO Snapshot:

Edit view:

Detailed view:

Contributor type is defined in the settings page > Inventory > Instance - UIIN-149 Closed .

What FOLIO environment have you checked?

Comment by Kristin Martin [ 02/May/19 ]

Charlotte, you are right. However, Chicago would want to manage this at the source record level and not at the Inventory level.

Comment by Charlotte Whitt [ 02/May/19 ]

ah, okay, Kristin Martin

Seems like this should be able to be accomplished in the LDP? Sharon Beltaine

Please identify an analyst or developer resource to write the SQL report query.

Nassib Nassar and Sharon Beltaine - please see lew235 question above, re. if this should be run as a LDP report?

Comment by lew235 [ 04/Sep/19 ]

Charlotte Whitt Sharon and I were just looking at this one together. We think this should be part of an LDP report.

lew235 - totally agree; with you and Sharon
