 Description

There is only one job for ITEMS bulk edit now. It is preferable to have 2 separate jobs for bulk edit ITEM.

  1. For now, the user is not able to know whether the data was updated or just uploaded for downloading matched record files. (Less ability for control and supervision).
  2. No data is available for the identifiers part of the job after updating is started - as a result, time estimation for the next bulk edit jobs is complicated.
  3. The status for the updating part of the job can be "SUCCESSFUL" with no record updated- "{"total": 0, "errors": 0, "success": 0, "progress": 100, "processed": 0}". If the job has failed in the beginning.

P.S.

It is only a suggestion and needs further investigation and approval.

Viachaslau Khandramai - is this still applicable?

Magda Zacharska, it can be closed as won't do because bulk edit is migrated to bulk operations. Please, close it.
