 Description

Steps to Repro

  1. Logged into demo or demo-test as diku_admin
  2. Created a few permission sets. Each included one or two permissions from Users and another non-User permission (like Inventory - all or Circulation - all)
  3. Assigned one of these permissions to cboerema
  4. I didn't remove any of the granular permissions that were automatically assigned to cboerema, as I assumed they were needed for something
  5. Logged out
  6. Logged back in as cboerema

Expected: Expected to log in and see the apps and functionality contained in the permissions cboerema was assigned

Actual: No app icons displayed and logged in user showing undefined undefined

Additional Info: I logged in as diku_admin again and that user had the same issues.

Having successfully responded to the initial login request, all followup requests are rejected with a 500 Internal Server Error.

The responses are:

Unable to retrieve permissions for user 'diku_admin': Unable to retrieve permissions (code 500): Error getting expanded permissions: [6] - There is a query still being run here - race -> false

I have reproduced the problem !!!

Looking at log.txt it seems there is an issue with a module (permissions?) and RMB not handling an exception (decoding error) properly. But I'll let Kurt Nordstrom be the judge of that.
