We'd like to see if having Kafka running based on MSK provides better stability for Data Import and other modules using it. |

Mike Gorrell can you provide some context for this? Wayne Schneider and Ian Hardy do not recall any issues with Kafka on snapshot-load, on the contrary we've been hearing about Kafka issues on bugfest (which runs MSK afaik). What would be the goal of switching to MSK? Is it to make it easier to debug bugfest issues? |

Mark Veksler and/or Hkaplanian - please chime in. What is driving our need for MSK in the FOLIO reference environments? I am unclear what MSK "fixes"... but I do know that we wanted multiple environments to be the same and since BugFest used MSK.... we wanted to update one of the hosted reference environments too. |

Mark Veksler - can we close this? |
