| Description |
|
Hi All, Please install the trial version of the following plugin for issue templates. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211044/issue-templates-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview The goal for this plugin: create pre-entered info to Bugs and other Jira issues to give users a clear picture of which kind of information is necessary to enter to the tickets. Thanks If I may advise you something, please upgrade your Jira to 7.3. due to the fact that this Jira version is supported by the newest version of Issue Templates so having this version, you will be able to use all the features that have ever been implemented in the app. |

The current version of FOLIO Jira is a little too old to enable this plugin. So this ticket will need to wait for that. It is not yet known when the Jira version will be upgraded. |

OK, I will check that issue with the plugin vendor. |

Peter Murray Mark Veksler Guys, I’m tagging you on the issue as members of the OLE Infra team. Has there been a plan discussed regarding Jira updates? |

Jakub Skoczen the OLF infra team hasn't met since the beginning of the year. |

The FOLIO Jira isn't something that the OLF Infrastructure team has been taking on. We've been working with the OLF's Jira and Confluence. Although the lines are not firmly set, it seems like the FOLIO Jira and Confluence are like FOLIO's continuous integration infrastructure and hosted reference environments—something that will be managed by the FOLIO community itself. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a ticket for upgrading FOLIO's Jira; I don't remember anyone requesting it. |

Peter MurrayShould I create a ticket for Jira update than? As We need to install plugin which mentioned in this ticket, but can not do that without Jira update. |

David Crossley Sorry I can not see that ticket. Any info when such update will be completed and we could continue with implementing the Template plugin from this ticket? |

|
No, there is no indication at this stage. Community resources will need to be gathered and prioritised. |

David Crossley I contacted with plugin developers and get the following answer, could you please use provided version than? Unfortunately, as you’re using the version which, according to EULA(https://deviniti.com/support/legal/), is not supported (7.1.9.), you need to install one of older versions of the Issue Templates app. The last working app’s version that is compatible with your Jira version is 7.6.2. This version can be downloaded from the Marketplace (click https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211044/issue-templates-for-jira/version-history). If I may advise you something, please upgrade your Jira to 7.3. due to the fact that this Jira version is supported by the newest version of Issue Templates so having this version, you will be able to use all the features that have ever been implemented in the app. |

Okay. I added the Trial today (using its old version v7.6.2). The trial expires on 2020-06-06. I have done no configuration, leaving that to you. If there is some more configuration that only a Jira Admin can do, then please provide explicit instructions. |

We're closing this as the plugin has been installed. Let us know if there's more we can do to help (or create a seperate ticket) |

Hello Sergiy Vysotskiy as noted earlier, the one-month Trial version expires on 2020-06-06. Please advise if you want to continue with this add-on. There is a process for DevOps to follow, to apply to Atlassian for an open-source license. |
