 Description

A translator has asked about the context of the `createdSource` string found in ui-inventory. I traced the creation of the string back to UIIN-902 Closed and a specific commit in GitHub, but I can't find where in ui-inventory this string is used. If it is being used, please provide a screen capture of the string being displayed in the app. If it is not being used, can we delete it so the translators can ignore it?

Assigning to Mariia Aloshyna as the assignee of UIIN-902 Closed with a copy to Charlotte Whitt as the PO for Inventory.

Hi Peter Murray `createdSource` - does not ring a bell with me when I check:

The commit you refer to in GitHub is work the EPAM team / Foljiet team did ??

Yes, Folijet was the team that worked on UIIN-902 Closed .

Hi Peter Murray - then they would know if it's save to delete that property in the language file. I'd guess it has something to do with SRS and MARC records.

Hi Charlotte Whitt
The goal of UIIN-902 Closed (as well as of a bunch of the other tickets in different projects) is to gather and combine all the fields from all the apps that can be mapped in data import and export processors.
We use JSON_SCHEMA to retrieve the fields lists from respective apps and their in-app translated names/captions.
If the caption for the particular field(s) absent we add them to respective app's translations file to retrieve from there.

Thanks, Taras Tkachenko. I need a screenshot of the field in use to pass along to the translators.

Taras Tkachenko or Mariia Aloshyna: Can you provide a screenshot showing the use of this string, please?

Hi Peter Murray navigate to Settings/Data Import/Match profiles, then go to editing a profile, see a dropdown for the existing record field.

Oh, wow – no wonder why I couldn't find it. Thank you for the screenshot.
