 Description

There is a relatively new GitHub repo called `ci-perf` that is marked "Private". There is an effort ( FOLIO-2453 Closed ) to remove the private repos from the `folio-org` organization so the GitHub organization can move to the Open Source for Teams license. Can this repository be made public or moved as a private repository the `folio-org-priv` organization?

cc: VBar, Martin Tran...it isn't clear whether https://github.com/ViacheslavVostrietsov has an account on issues.folio.org.

VBar and Martin Tran: Can you let me know what you are thinking about this private repository? This is one of three left that I'm trying to remove so we can reduce the GitHub bill from $1300/month to $35/month. The choices are (I believe):

  1. make it public
  2. move it to the `folio-org-priv` organization (will need to add a couple of users at $9/month to FOLIO's private GitHub organization for access to continue)
  3. move it to another GitHub organization (an EBSCO one?)

Hi Peter Murray Can we get back to you on Monday? Vince is out of the office until then and I'd like to discuss with him.
My initial thoughts are to move the files over to a private EBSCO directory, then when we are ready to contribute back to the community we will create a public one on folio-org.

Sounds good, Martin. Next week is fine. Thanks for the update.

Hi Martin Tran – did you hear from VBar about this? This is the last remaining private repository, so I'd love to clear this up and reset the GitHub organization to the gratis open source tier.

Peter Murray We are working on migrating this repo to our private repo and then deleting it. Should be done by the end of week.

Great! Thanks for the update.

Hi Martin. I'd really like to have this repository moved by the end of the week so we are not charged for another month of GitHub services on the `folio-org` organization. Can you move this ASAP, please?

Comment by Martin Tran [ 26/Feb/20 ]

Yes, Peter Murray. We are moving it, should be done by end of week. Need to test it first before deleting it.

URGENT: Martin – can you complete this today, please?

Working on it, Peter Murray. Moved the contents already, verifying a few references to the files in this repo that all are there.

Peter Murray We deleted the repo already!

Wonderful! Just in time. I was able to move `folio-org` to the "Open Source Teams" plan, effective tomorrow.
