John Malconian: just checking in on the length of the short-term reserved instance contracts for the things that are going into the K8 cluster. That includes the hosted reference implementations (folio-testing, folio-snapshot, and the releases), FOLIO Registry, and the Jenkins workers. Right now I'm not buying reservations longer than two months, which takes us to mid-January. Is that reasonable for moving these services to K8, or should I look for longer reservations for some/all of these servers? |

A 10-count m5.large EC2 RI expired yesterday. Purchased a 3-year, no-upfront Compute Savings Plan at $0.45/hour to cover this and a little extra that has been uncovered for the past few months. |
